    Argentina is the most visited country in all of South America and, in turn, Buenos Aires is the preferred destination of foreigners with 4 million visits a year.
    Cultural development can be seen in the large number of museums, theaters and libraries that can be found in the city. It also stands out for having its own cultural identity, reflected in demonstrations such as filleting, lunfardo, tango, mate and carnival of Buenos Aires. It also has an important tourist offer and numerous places to visit.

    El Calafate  Lakes, glaciers, forests, mountains and steppe constitute the beauty of this inhospitable but capturing landscape.
    Between September and May, El Calafate becomes the most important touristic center receiving tourists from every nationality, motivated to know the imposing and legendary Perito Moreno Glacier, close to the Magallanes Peninsula, barely separated by a narrow deviation of the Lago Argentino.
    This is the most visited place in the Los Glaciares National Park and it is one of the two Patrimonies of Mankind of the province.

    You will also visit Chaltén, the name “Chalten” comes from the Tehuelche language and means “steaming mountain”, because the clouds that almost always crown its summit, which together with the ancestral denomination has led to a creator erroneously that it was a volcano.
    The mountain Is considered sacred for the local Indians and is part of its cosmogony.
    It is a small tourist village founded in the National Park Los Glaciares.

    1. Day 1 BUENOS AIRES

      Arrival in Buenos Aires, welcome at the airport and private transfer from Ezeiza International Airport to the hotel with English Speaking guide.

    2. Day 2 BUENOS AIRES - CITY TOUR

      After breakfast, Half Day Buenos Aires City Tour (SIB)

      We will visit Buenos Aires’ most traditional and picturesque points. Buenos Aires is a city that combines the European style with the Latin American spirit. In this tour, you will discover its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta. Duration: between 3 or 4 hours.

      In the afternoon, return to the hotel.

      In the evening, Tango Dinner- Show (SIB). International cuisine, regional dishes, desserts, and a wide selection of Argentine wines will be offered to accompany the Tango show, where guests will experience the sensual dance of Tango, which reveals the spirit of Buenos Aires’ beginnings.  All this held in a romantic and intimate atmosphere.

    3. Day 3 BUENOS AIRES - EL CALAFATE

      After breakfast, private transfer from the hotel to the airport in Buenos Aires to take the flight to El Calafate (without guide)

      Flight to El Calafate (it is not included).

      Upon arrival, regular transfer from El Calafate airport to the hotel with English Speaking Guide.

      Rest of the day at your leisure.

    4. Day 4 EL CALAFATE: MINITREKKING PERITO MORENO GLACIER

      Breakfast.

      Transfer from the hotels to the Bajo las Sombras Port, approximately 7km before the Glacier viewpoint, from where the 20-minute ship crossing leaves until we reach the opposite side of Brazo Rico, where we descend.

      After the disembark we get to the small shelter, where specialized mountain guides welcome you and organize the people in groups of not more than 20, who then follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. We arrive to the River Moreno`s Cascade, where the guides explain how to use the pair of crampons that will allow us to walk over the glacier.

      The two hours circuit that follows introduces you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: streams, small lagoons, gullies, crevasses, and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blues.

      The trekking is moderate. The ice surface over which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe. You will receive explanations about flora, fauna and general glaciology of the region and also about the particular phenomenon that happens in the Perito Moreno Glacier and eventually produces its rupture.

      After the walk, a stroll through the exuberant magallanic forest brings you back to the shelter, where the visitors have lunch contemplating a wonderful view.

      Once lunch is finished, we head back to the Port, where a bus will be awaiting to take you back to the Glacier viewpoint and its footbridges, where you will be able to stay for an hour. We then begin our return to El Calafate.

      Restrictions: due to the degree of effort and difficulty that this excursion presents, is NOT allowed for; pregnant women, people with overweight, some type of disability, or health problems. Age: Between 10 and 65 years old.

      Recommendations: wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes (windbreaker, jacket and windbreaker and / or raincoat). Sunglasses, sunscreen and gloves. Also, sun hat or coat in case it gets very cold. Take a lunch box to have a meal in the woods at the side of the lake, before embarking. There are no restaurants to have lunch in.

      Duration: 7 hours (1 hour and 30 minutes on the glacier).

    5. Day 5 EL CALAFATE: ESTANCIA CRISTINA DISCOVERY NAVIGATION

      Breakfast.

      Today we will enjoy a Full Day Navigation to Upsala Glacier at Estancia Cristina.

      After sailing from Punta Bandera Pier, you will start the navegation thought the Nortern arm of the Agentino Lake so you can reach Upsala Channel and get a panoramic view of the front of Uspala Glacier.

      After disimbark in Estancia Cristina, thanks a 4×4 vehicle, you will start ascending thought the Feruglio cord. There, you will hike so you can reach the lookout point of Upsala Glacier where you can appreciate the Guillermo Lake, the East fronf of the Uspala Glacier and the Southern Patagonian Continental Ice Field.

      After lunch, you will be surrounded by ñires woods until you reach the Dog’s river fall. After that, you will visit the Costumbrista Museum, an old shearing shed, where you will hear the history of the master’s family. You will take a guided walk to Caterina River, La Noria, the Chappel so you can tour the hull of the Estancia.

      Note: If the maximum number of passengers is exceeded, visitors will be divided in turns by the tour coordinator of the Estancia.

      Lunch is optional. Entrance fee Los Glaciares National Park is not included. Duration: approx. 11 hours.

    6. Day 6 EL CALAFATE - EL CHALTEN

      Upon your arrival, we suggest taking the SELF-GUIDED TREKKING to Laguna Torre.

      We start this beautiful walk from the village, the trail will take us to walk an incredible 9 km, through various areas of forests and valleys, accompanying the entire trail the north side of the Fytz Roy River.

      During we are walking this path, which has 300 meters of altitude, we will appreciate beautiful views from different viewpoints, flora and fauna of the area.

      After approximately 3 hours of walking we will arrive at Laguna Torre, which is the base of the legendary Cerro Torre, which we can appreciate from the shores of this beautiful lagoon. After a well-deserved rest we begin the return by the same path.

      We suggest you bring: a small backpack, lunch box, water, hat, sunglasses, rain jacket, polar sweater, gloves, sunscreen, trekking shoes.

      Duration: approx. 8 hours. Difficulty: Demanding/hard. We DO NOT recommend it for children under 12, nor for people who have some motor difficulty in relation to walking.

    7. Day 7 EL CHALTEN

      Breakfast. Day at your leisure.

      We suggest taking the SELF-GUIDED TREKKING to Laguna Los Tres.

      A demanding but unforgettable excursion that includes transfer by bus and trekking. This incredible experience begins with the transfer along the provincial route n ° 41 by bus, from El Chaltén to the Hostería El Pilar, which is located about 14 km from the town.
      From there we start the ascent, bordering the Río Blanco, after approximately 1:30 hs of hiking in the forest, we arrive to the viewpoint of the Piedras Blancas Glacier. Then we will continue along the path to until the Poincenot area, which is the base of Cerro Fitz Roy. From this point we will start the last ascent of approximately 90 minutes, to reach the Laguna de los Tres, staying facing the central wall of Cerro Fitz Roy.

      After enjoying this unforgettable place, we will begin the descent towards the town. During this path, we will enjoy different viewpoints, and we can visit the Laguna Capri. After 10 km of footpath we will arrive at El Chaltén at approximately 6:00 p.m.

      We suggest you bring: a small backpack, lunch box, water, hat, sunglasses, rain jacket, polar sweater, gloves, sunscreen, trekking shoes.

      Duration: approx. 8 hours. Difficulty: Demanding/hard. We DO NOT recommend it for children under 12, nor for people who have some motor difficulty in relation to walking.

    8. Day 8 EL CHALTEN - EL CALAFATE

      Breakfast.

      Day at your leisure in El Chalten.

      Return to El Calafate where you will returne your car rental in the office at El Calafate airport and then take your flight to Buenos Aires.

      Flight to Buenos Aires (it is not included).

      Arrival in Buenos Aires and private transfer from Jorge Newbery National Airport to the hotel (without guide).

    9. Day 9 BUENOS AIRES
