    All about the USHUAIA, EL CALAFATE, EL CHALTÉN & TORRES DEL PAINE – 11 DAYS 10 NIGHTS.

    Ushuaia always changes drastically with each season. The late spring brings the first hints of colors that in summer will completely invade grasslands, forests and peatlands. During autumn, lengas and ñires turn into thousand ochre shades that make forests and woods look like fire at sunset.
    In winter, a long white veil comes from the peaks and covers almost everything. Admiring the southern nature’s beauty is always breathe-taking.

    El Calafate  Lakes, glaciers, forests, mountains and steppe constitute the beauty of this inhospitable but capturing landscape.
    Between September and May, El Calafate becomes the most important touristic center receiving tourists from every nationality, motivated to know the imposing and legendary Perito Moreno Glacier, close to the Magallanes Peninsula, barely separated by a narrow deviation of the Lago Argentino.
    This is the most visited place in the Los Glaciares National Park and it is one of the two Patrimonies of Mankind of the province.

    You will also visit Chaltén, the name “Chalten” comes from the Tehuelche language and means “steaming mountain”, because the clouds that almost always crown its summit, which together with the ancestral denomination has led to a creator erroneously that it was a volcano.
    The mountain Is considered sacred for the local Indians and is part of its cosmogony.
    It is a small tourist village founded in the National Park Los Glaciares.

    Torres del Paine is a paradise of 227,298 hectares and exceptional geography of imposing massifs, virgin forests and turquoise lakes.
    With a strong windgust and an indigo painted sky, Torres del Paine Park welcomes and invites us to discover the reason why it is recognized as one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

    1. Day 1 USHUAIA

      Arrival in Ushuaia and regular transfer from Airport to the hotel with English Speaking Guide.
      Departing from the tourist pier, we start the navigation through the Beagle Channel, heading for to the Lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs ”the circumnavigated the vessel stops to enable passengers to watch and take pictures. After we take heading the birds and sea Liosn sialnds, where we approach and stand for see the colony of these cute animals, which are close to the boat to observe and begin swimming and jumping around the boat. We continue our journey passing by the Estancia Remolino and Almanza Harbor, heading for the McKinlay Passage toward the gable / Martillo Island, where there is a Magellan penguin colony. There we will stop to watch and photograph these birds from the catamaran. After that, we will start our way back to the Ushuaia pier.

    2. Day 2 USHUAIA TREKKING & CANOAS

      After breakfast we will go in a walk, where we will combine a trekking and a canoeing tour by the National Park Tierra del Fuego, the trails will take us to the most beautiful places of the park where we will observe much wildlife, Giants trees similar to those seen in the film the Lord of the Rings, also we will observe many birds which are inhabit in these forests, after this walk will pass in our adventure to the sea, where in our well equipped canoes we will sail by the Beagle Channel, will visit the Island of the sea lions and the Mesa Redonda island where we will see the Imperial cormorants, we will landed on this island where we will have a nice time to share a coffee with a beautiful view as the end of the afternoon. Our return to Ushuaia will be around 06: 00 Pm.

    3. Day 3 USHUAIA-EL CALAFATE

      Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take your flight.
      Flight to El Calafate (it is not included).
      Upon arrival, private transfer from El Calafate airport to the hotel (without guide).
      Rest of the day at your leisure.

    4. Day 4 EL CALAFATE: MINITREKKING PERITO MORENO GLACIER

      Breakfast.
      This trek is of medium physical demand and is inconvenient for persons with difficulty moving. The state permits only people with ages between 7 and 70 years to attend this trek. Leave from the “Bajo de las Sombras” Pier about 75 kilometers from El Calafate. From this point observe the glacier for approximately 500 meters at the southern wall of the glacier until arriving at the edge opposing where the water falls to arrive at the Rio Moreno Waterfall where visitors begin the use of pickets and snowshoes enabling them to walk on the glacier. Tour is offered from October to May according to climate. Bilingual guides specializing in ice formations offered daily. There is a two hour transfer to the port from Calafate and from this point, there are several daily minitrekking excursions throughout the day.

    5. Day 5 EL CALAFATE: ESTANCIA CRISTINA DISCOVERY NAVIGATION

      Today we will enjoy of a navigation to Upsala Glacier + Estancia Cristina +4×4 Upsala Viewpoint + Museum.
      Regular transfer to the port without guide. Boarding and departure at port Punta Bandera (NPC) 08.15 hours in our modern and comfortable boat.
      Sailing among icebergs and stunning scenery overlooking the western front of the Upsala glacier and then through Cristina Canal to the point of disembark at the Estancia.
      Arrival Estancia Cristina 11:30 hs. Stay at the Estancia for 6 hours. Lunch is included.
      Guided visit to the Costumbrista museum (old shearing shed).
      Ascent in all-terrain vehicles, travelling 9.5 km through mountainous roads. Arrival to the Continental ice shelter. 30 minute walk.
      Visit the oriental front of Upsala Glacier. Lake Guillermo, Southern Patagonian Ice and Andes.
      Return to the farm house of the Estancia and board at 17:30 hs. Arrival to Puerto Banderas at 19:00 hs approximately.
      Transfer to the hotel.
      NOTE: If the maximum number of passengers is exceeded, visitors will be divided in turns by the tour coordinator of the Estancia.

    6. Day 6 EL CALAFATE - EL CHALTEN

      Brekfast.
      Today you will pick up a car rental and drive 220 km to El Chalten.
      Upon your arrival, we suggest to make the SELF-GUIDED TREKKING to Laguna Torre.
      From El Chalten there are two headers that target path Laguna Torre. The road enters the river valley Of the Round and continues tracing the course of this river to its source. A halfway you reach a viewpoint with unparalleled panoramic view of the cord Adela and Cerro Torre and needles accompanying granite. The road eventually crosses the DeAgostini base camp where you can stay overnight, and 15 minutes later concludes Laguna Torre. This gap usually grouped on its banks numerous icebergs off the front of the Great Glacier.
      Approx. 7 hours. Difficulty: Easy

    7. Day 7 EL CHALTEN

      Breakfast.
      Day at your leisure.
      We suggest to make the SELF-GUIDED TREKKING to Laguna Los Tres.
      The head of the trail starts at the end of Avenida San Martín, in the area of free camping Madsen. During the first hour is somewhat steep slope to enter the Del Salto stream valley towards the Mount Fitz Roy. The ñires begin to become more numerous around the trail and about an hour and a half journey leads to a natural viewpoint well marked on a rock, a sign that interprets the landscape that appears before us. The road always continues up the creek Hop up the drainage of the Mother and Daughter lagoons. Approximately 4 hours of the game is reached first base camp Poincenot (ample free camp) and after crossing the White River, Rio Blanco base camp (for climbers only). From here the trail continues on an upward slope of about 400 meters to the Laguna de los Tres. The road ends at the old moraine ridge, with an extraordinary view of the lake and glacier Three. This is the closest of the granite wall of Mount Fitz Roy and the peaks view. Down the dark, you can take a trail around the lagoon to its mouth, where Laguna Sucia and its hanging glaciers.

    8. Day 8 EL CHALTEN – TORRES DEL PAINE - PEHOE SECTOR (approx 550 km - 7h30min)

      By your own: Arrival to Torres del Paine national park from El Chalten. The park, created in 1959, has since then been declared an important heritage site by UNESCO.
      To Discover:
      Before arrival to main entrance of the park, you will find the famous Laguna Amarga. From this viewpoint, you are able to see the emblem of the park: the famous Torres del Paine.
      On route towards Pehoe Sector, you can stop at many view points as Lago Sarmiento, Nordenskjöld Lake and Cuernos Viewpoint.

    9. Day 9 TORRES DEL PAINE - PEHOE SECTOR

      Day free for activities
      To Discover:
      – Excursion inside the park visiting Mirador del Paine. 4-5 hours walk on the trail to Mirador Laguna del Toro. This trail allows to see the native avifauna in the park with the Paine Massif as background.
      – Drive to Grey Sector, here you have possibility to navigate across the lake and be closed to the magnificent Grey Glacier. If you want to book, please let us know.
      Also, you are able to walk along the shore of the lake until get the “island” called icebreaker cemetery.
      – In this sector, you can find the starting point trek to Ferrier Mount. It takes 4 hours approx. and you will have a beautiful and panoramic view of the National Park and lakes.
      – Drive to Pudeto sector and visit Salto Grande, then cross by catamaran Pehoe Lake. From here you can hike to Glacier direction (6 hours approx.) or French Valley (9 hours).

    10. Day 10 TORRES DEL PAINE - PEHOE SECTOR – TORRES SECTOR

      Today, you will drive to the east of the park, Torres Sector. Here you will spend the night.

      To Discover:
      – Full day hike of approximately 8 hours to the foot of the Torres del Paine towers, granite pinnacles more than 1000m high. At the foot of the towers lies a beautiful lagoon.
      – Panoramic tour by car visiting Cascada Paine and Blue Lagoon.
      – Horse riding in the sector. If you want to book, please let us know.

    11. Day 11 TORRES DEL PAINE - EL CALAFATE

      Breakfast.
      Day at your leisure. At the right time you should drive to El Calafate Airport to take your flight out.
