We will visit the Andean archeoastronomical Observatory “Paniri Caur”, located half an hour from Calama.
It will be possible to observe the skies and learn about the Andean´s view of the universe and the impact that the stars had on their entire way of living.
The astronomical tour includes an audio-visual talk and the observation of the classical and indigenous constellations through star charts and a 14” telescope, to learn about the different types of stars and planets, and their location. We will make a retrospective trip towards the worldview of the Atacama people, framed in a unique and natural environment in the Atacama Desert.
