All about the MAGDALENA ISLAND: NAVIGATION TO PENGUIN COLONY IN CATAMARAN – HALF DAY.

Magdalena Island is located in the center of the Strait of Magellan, north of Punta Arenas and is one of the largest colonies of Magellan Penguins in Chile with more than 120,000 of these funny birds.
The excursion begins crossing the waters of the mythical Strait for approximately 2 hours. Once on the island, we can make a walk among hundreds of penguins that will appear while we walk. The time of stay on the island is one hour.

Note: The use of canes for photographic cameras in the island is PROHIBITED, because the implement affects the penguis, especially during full reproduction cycle.
