Our natural, pristine observatory, a clear, pure sky, where watching the universe and its stars is a unique spectacle in the world. Beyond the immeasurable beauty of the Salinas Grandes, we have thought about every detail, without losing sight of the sustainability of this natural reserve, offering a personalized service for a maximum of 10 guests per stay who will stay in 4 fully equipped luxury domes. Includes full-board: breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, drinks, and local wines made with regional products. Also programmed activities with specialized guides.

  1. Day 1 TUCUMAN ARRIVAL

    Morning arrival at Tucumán airport, where you will pick up the car rental to start your free exploration of the amazing Northwest region of Argentina!

    Enjoy this historical city, where the Independence was declared and discover its surroudings with green hills and picturesque villages.

    Overnight in San Javier: Hotel Sol San Javier or similar, standard room.

  2. Day 2 TUCUMÁN – TAFÍ DEL VALLE - AMAICHA DEL VALLE

    Driving northwards you will get immersed in a different landscape and a special atmosphere: the Calchaquí valleys, with all its rich aborigine culture, local flavours and magic images driving by contrasting sceneries.

    Don’t miss Tafí del Valle! You may continue to Amaicha del Valle and visit its astronomical center, as well as an interesting winery, developed by a local community.

  3. Day 3 AMAICHA DEL VALLE - QUILMES - CAFAYATE

    An experience along the Calchaquí valleys is waiting for you. Continue northwards entering to visit the famous Quilmes aborigine ruins (70km). Then you will realize that you are about to reach Cafayate (53km) because of the attractive vineyards and excellent wineries along the road. Upon your arrival, we will give you the welcome in a representative boutique winery, where an excellent homemade lunch and special wine tasting will be offered, including its fruit typical white grape: the Torrontés.

  4. Day 4 CAFAYATE - CACHI

    Experience a pleasant driving along the mythical National route 40 enjoying incredible views of the virgin Calchaquí valleys (158km). Enjoy a deep contact with the landscape by free stops on the road and hiking along Las Flechas Gorge. Friendly native people, picturesque small towns over the hills with representative local architecture are some of the images that will be printed on your experience. Arrival in Cachi.

  5. Day 5 CACHI - SALTA

    In the morning you will have the chance to admire the marvelous area known as Cachi Adentro by a peaceful horseback riding. After lunch, departure to Salta city (162km). The road is a spectacle: the Tin Tin straight and Los Cardones NP, Piedra del Molino and the Obispo slope, as well as the green Escoipe gorge and many different towns, are just some samples of this entertaining trip. Dinner at a gourmet restaurant centrally located.

  6. Day 6 SALTA

    Morning departure southwards to experience an amazing rafting in Juramento river, with views of the huge Cabra Corral dam. Then enjoy the afternoon in the beautiful city of Salta: visit the city centre, ascend the San Bernardo hill and visit San Lorenzo village.

    Finally farewell dinner with folk musicians and dancers alive.

  7. Day 7 SALTA – TASTIL, SAN ANTONIO DE LOS COBRES – SALINAS GRANDES

    Early morning departure to take the most of this amazing day!

    After reaching pre-incas ruins, gorges and minuscule towns by the Train to the clouds rail, you will arrive at San Antonio de los Cobres (170km). Then continue to the impressive Salinas Grandes (Salt lakes) (102km), a completely different image.

    An unforgettable night is waiting for you, enjoying the astonishing sky over this excellent glamping.

  8. Day 8 SALINAS GRANDES

    Enjoy a complete day in this area, with full board and activities with specialized guides provided by the camp.

  9. Day 9 SALINAS GRANDES - PURMAMARCA - HUMAHUACA - PURMAMARCA

    Departure by Lipán Gorge to reach the worldwide known Humahuaca gorge, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO. A complete visit of Purmamarca, Tilcara and Humahuaca are a must, as well as many other small towns and beautiful hills. Enjoy a hiking with llamas by incredible scenes. Dinner with folk music in Purmamarca is optional.

  10. Day 10 PURMAMARCA – JUJUY

    This experience is about to finish! Drive southwards to San Salvador de Jujuy city (96km), the capital city of Jujuy province. There you can visit the city centre and finally return your rental car at the airport office and take your departure flight.
