We leave early in the morning from the city of Salta, we will visit part of the Lerma Valley and we ascend in a 4×4 vehicle up the Cuesta del Obispo to 3348 meters above sea level. Then we go through the park Nacional Los Cardones, the Straight of Tin Tin, drawn in a perfectly straight line by the Incas, we continue through Los Graneros, the Devil’s Bridge, where the Calchaquí River is submerged by underground caves. There We will do a short trekking visiting the caves. After a picnic that we take for lunch, We continue our journey arriving at the Black Rock Field of the Twin Volcanoes, and the old town of La Poma in the vicinity of the Nevado del Acay of 5800 m.s.n.m. We return to Salta around 8:00 p.m.
Recommendation: bring a change of clothes and another paint of shoes.
