    All about the FULL BOLIVIA – 13 DAY 12 NIGHTS.

    Bolivia is a country full of life, colors, movement, culture and hidden wonders.

    First we will visit Santa Cruz, it is the capital of the rich jungle area of ​​eastern Bolivian. Currently the city enjoys economic well-being, and its tourist attractions are in its surroundings.

    Sucre is the capital of the Republic of Bolivia. Its climate is warm and dry. Located in the inter-Andean valleys. Sucre is the city where the first libertarian shout of America was given, on May 25, 1809, and where the Act of Independence of Spanish rule was signed on August 6, 1825. Years later, it is designated Capital of Bolivia. Sucre is also called the city of the 4 names, each corresponding to a period of its life.

    Potosí is the city located at the highest height of the world, at 4,070 meters. It was founded in 1545 by the Spanish conquistadors and is undoubtedly one of the rarest places on the planet. Its stone streets maintain the thick and finely worked colonial constructions. For them, Potosí was declared Patrimony of the Humanity by Unesco

    Finally you end in La Paz. Today it has become a metropolis that exceeds one million inhabitants.

    1. Day 1 SANTA CRUZ – CITY TOUR

      At arrival we will be waiting to welcome you and transfer to your hotel.
      In the afternoon we will visiting the Plaza de Armas on September 24 with its Cathedral, art exhibition, craft shops and appreciate the view from the lookout at the belfry of the cathedral. Continue with a walk through different avenues called rings that make Santa Cruz a different city and residential areas of the city.

    2. Day 2 SANTA CRUZ – SAMAIPATA – SANTA CRUZ

      At 06:30 we will pick you up from your hotel and begin our beautiful trip passing by series of mountains, spaces fulfilled of diverse vegetation and enjoying panoramic views of the extreme of the Andes Range
      At 10:30 approx. we arrive to the archeological site called “El Fuerte” (Incas last vestige) where you will be able to discover the mystery of this enigmatic place. We will have lunch and in the afternoon we will visit Samaipata town, where the archeological museum is located, we will also visit a handicrafts center, the main square and its surroundings. At 15:00 we will get back on the road to Santa Cruz, on our way we will stop at the place called “Cascadas de las Cuevas” an exotic place with clear small waterfalls, where you can take a bath. Arrival to Santa Cruz at 19:00 approx.

    3. Day 3 SANTA CRUZ – SUCRE (except Monday or Sunday)

      In the morning we will pick you up to your hotel and transfer to the Airport.

      In the afternoon we will pick you up in a private vehicle to begin the tour, first we will get to know the Church, Convent/ Viewpoint of “La Recoleta”, a Franciscan monastery located on the foot of the Churuquella mountain, and then we address ourselves to the Indigenous Art Museum (ASUR) in which you will have the chance to see a display of the richness of textiles produced by two local cultures: Tarabuco y Jalq’a,
      Finally we will visit the “Casa de la Libertad” where the independence document of the Alto Peru (nowadays Plurinational State of Bolivia) was signed, it works as a museum where very important historical pieces and documents from the independence time of Bolivia are kept, we end our tour walking through the Main Square and we go back to the hotel.

    4. Day 4 SUCRE

      OPTION 1: TARABUCO (only Sunday)
      We will begin the tour traveling 78 Km.( 1 hour approximately of Sucre) to get to Tarabuco, this colourful population is certainly one of the best traditional markets in South America, which includes a big fair every Sunday, which has become in the first economic and social activity of its people. Early in the afternoon, we will continue the tour to see the dress of “Tarabuqueño” (quechua language) has not changed since Inca Times. Their tissues are the best in technology, quality and colour. Return to Sucre.

      OPTION 2: PALEONTOLOGICAL TOUR
      We begin the tour at 08:00 approximately towards “LA CALANCHA” we walk during 1 and half hour to see paleontological remains, place with sedimentary rocks, and strata of rocks that show the transformation of the planet through the time.
      Then, we will visit the “Churuquella” Hill. Walk for half an hour to the footprints.
      Visit to the Cretaceous park, where you will be able to appreciate a great variety and quantity of prehistoric animal tracks of different species, considered as the largest sample of footprints in the world.At night you can have the chance to enjoy a unique folkloric show in Bolivia.

    5. Day 5 SUCRE - POTOSÍ

      Bus Sucre – Potosi
      At arrival transfer to your hotel.
      In the afternoon, we will have a visit the monument of mines, mining market; we meet women miners (palliris) and visit to a cooperative mine.

    6. Day 6 POTOSÍ - UYUNI

      At appropriate hour, we will pick you up to transfer to the Bus station.
      Potosi – Uyuni. At arrival, transfer to your salt hotel in Colchani.

    7. Day 7 COLCHANI – UYUNI SALT FLAT – AJENCHA

      We will pick you up from your hotel at 11:00 approximately, first we will visit the amazing Uyuni Salt Flat, and after some minutes traveling in this infinite salt plane, arrive to the “Salt Hotel-Museum”, the first of its kind that nowadays works only as a museum. On our way we will be able to see fantastic optic illusions, able to see in raining season (December- March), and also we will visit “Ojos de Agua” (Eyes of water), small salt eruptions which help us to explain the development of this huge salt lake.
      At noon, you will reach the “Incahuasi Island” in the middle of the Salt flat; there are extraordinary calcareous rocks, large populations of Cactus, local fauna and spectacular 360 grades panoramic views of the Salt Flat from the summit.
      After lunch we go ahead to the town of Ajencha to our accommodation in the south part of the salt flat

    8. Day 8 AJENCHA – RED LAGOON

      We begin our day addressing ourselves to the volcanoes range with their eternal snow going to Lípez, there we will find the Ollagüe Volcano that we will observe at the distance. Then we restart the trip to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, on our way we will appreciate the lagoons called “Joyas Altoandinas” (Jewels from the High lands): Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Honda where you will have the chance to see different kinds of local birds. Later we get to the Siloli Desert where we will make some stops to take pictures of this magnificent desert landscapes, inside you will find the famous rocky formation called Stone Tree. We get to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, and arrive to Laguna Colorada (The Red Lagoon), an impressing water source, the algae and plankton give the lagoon brown or intense red colors, this is the main flamingos nesting site and there it is possible to observe three kinds of flamingos of the region: James, Andino and Chileno.

    9. Day 9 RED LAGOON – GREEN LAGOON - UYUNI

      This day we need to get up very early in order to start the tour at 5:30 approximately, to observe the Geysers of “Sol de Mañana” smoky and noisy geysers, boiling mud stewpot where red and grey mud is boiling. Later we will enjoy a bath in the hot springs, despite the low temperatures it is an unforgettable experience. We continue our trip almost to the border with Chile, Hito Cajon on the way we will enjoy the panoramic view of the Dali Desert, there are columns of stones sculpted by the wind that resemble this famous painter work. After that, we will also appreciate the Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon), at the foot of Licancabur volcano. From the Green Lagoon, we begin the trip back to Uyuni, in the afternoon we will take a walk around the Rocks Valley, giant volcanic rocks between 8 to 15 meters high. Our last stop is at San Cristóbal village which has been moved from its original site to the actual one for the needs of one the biggest mine in Bolivia.Arrival to Uyuni at 18:00 approximately.

    10. Day 10 UYUNI – LA PAZ

      At appropriate hour we will pick you up to your hotel and transfer to the airport.

      At arrival, transfer to your hotel.
      In the afternoon at 14:00 we will pick you up from your hotel to start the city tour,
      • Visit to colorful typical, mystical and handicraft markets
      • Tour through the historical downtown, with remarkable architectural richness
      • Amazing panoramic views on board a modern cable car
      Return to hotel.

    11. Day 11 LA PAZ – COPACABANA – ISLA DEL SOL – LA PAZ

      Breakfast. We will pick you up from your hotel between 07:00 and 07:30 hrs and we begin our trip to the Titicaca Lake, we will travel through the Altiplano (High Plateau). After a 2 hour trip we arrive to the narrower section of the lake: the Strait of Tiquina, we will cross it in a the rudimentary local ferry along with local people.
      Arrival to the town Copacabana at 12:00 and we will have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we will get on board in our boat to travel through the Titicaca Lake, along with other tourists and town people, to the Sun Island. In Sun Island we will visit Yumani, there we will visit “Escalinata Del Inca” (Inca’s stairs) which leads us to the “Fuente de las 3 aguas” (the Fountain of the 3 Watersheds), the tradition dictates that if you drink from its water you can have eternal life.
      You will have some time to take pictures of the lake and the astonishing Royal Range of the Andes and we will go back to the boat to return to Copacabana, there we will make a quick visit to the town, enriched by the combination of the Andean and the Christian points of view, the religious sanctuary in honor of Candelaria Madonna, an important pilgrimage site for Bolivians, is located in this town.
      Bus to La Paz city at 18:30, arrival to La Paz bus station at 22:00 approximately, where our transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

    12. Day 12 LA PAZ – COROICO - LA PAZ

      At 08:00 we will pick you up from your hotel and we begin the trip to magical region of Los Yungas, the geographical transition between the altiplano to the Amazonian rainforest turns out to be a true spectacle of ecological diversity. We start ascending to “la Cumbre” at 4700 masl, from where you will enjoy the wonderful view of the majestic Real Andean Range, after we begin going down more than 2000 meters through rocky mountains, snow-capped peaks and foggy forests to the fertile and sub-tropical jungles of Los Yungas.
      After 3 hours we arrive to the “Senda Verde” Animal Refuge located 7km away from Coroico, there is located a centre to give shelter to animals which have been rescued from fauna traffic. You will have the chance to learn about wild fauna in Bolivia.
      After the visit we will have lunch and then we will address ourselves to the peculiar town of Coroico, where the climate turns warm. We will visit the town and its agricultural areas, which produce abundant crops of coca, coffee and citric fruits (depending on the time of the year)
      Return to La Paz, if the travellers want to have the experience we can go the way back through the famous “Death Road”.

    13. Day 13 LA PAZ – DEPARTURE

      At appropriate hour, we will pick you up to your hotel and transfer to the Airport. (D)
