The tour begins in Cafayate and passes the legendary National Route 40, which up to San Carlos is paved and from there to Cachi is gravel. You pass through the Quebrada de las Flechas whose modeled landscape because of the telluric movements and the wind it is incredibly attractive. On the way to Cachi we meet with Molinos, a town that has a very old church inside which the remains of the last royal governor of Salta, Dn Nicolás Isasmendi. In front of the church is the old residence from Isasmendi today Hacienda de Molinos, a very regional hotel. The tour ends in Cachi, where You can visit the church and the anthropological museum.
Recommendation: wear confortable clothes, hat, sun glasses and sunscreen.
