After arrving El Chalten, we will take Route 23 to enter the Cordillera to arrive at Lago del Desierto (37kms – 1.15 hr gravel and stone route) where we will embark towards the Vespignani Reserve. During the 20-minute navigation, you will be able to see the Huemul and Vespignani Glaciers and the north face of Cerro Fitz Roy. Then already in the reserve you will be received by the local guide who will provide you with information about the 3 self-guided trails (easy, moderate and difficult). From the last two, it is possible to see the Vespignani Glacier up close – the largest and most imposing in the Lago del Desierto – and once again have an incredible view of Cerro Fitz Roy.
