Experience the Argentine side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls in three parts.
Devil’s Throat: Before doing the other two paths, board a little train for a 4 km ride to Devil’s Throat Station surrounding the upper part of the Iguazu River. From here, walk by a bridge walkway that leads to the balcony of the Devil’s Throat.
Upper Walk: A walk of 500 meters long and lasts about 45 minutes seeing the Two Sisters, Bosetti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá and San Martin falls from the upper part. There’s a choice to rappel down or to take a 4 x 4 vehicle to the lower part of the falls.
Lower Path: With a professional tourist guide, walk approximately 1,300 meters along a foot path for about 1.5 hrs. viewing the falls from below.
This excursion includes transfers to the visitor center inside of the Iguazu National Park whereupon the traveller would take a train to the Devil’s Throat.
Optional tours you can also do:
Floating (30 minutes): Sailing the upper canal of the Iguazu River to see the flora and faunta of the small islands of this area.
Nautical Adventure: A short extraordinary experience with zodiac boats to get really close to the bottom of the falls (and to get wet!) boarding at the San Martin Island.
Great Adventure (1 hr): Combines a jungle trip with sailing to the falls. Start with a trip through the rainforest of the National Park in 4 x 4 roofless trucks. Then take a zodiac boat in the lower Iguazu River upstream for a panoramic view of the falls finishing after a trip directly under the falls.
Safari Macuco (3 hrs): This is a 3 km walk through the subtropical rainforest. Walking in the early morning or late afternoon provides the greatest possibility to see wild animals and birds. At the end of this path is Arrechea Falls, where you can take a refreshing dip in the water!
Duration: approx. 6 hours.
