RAFTING & CANOPY AT JURAMENTO RIVER – FULL DAY

No one imagines that in rafting can be rafting. However, 100kms from the capital, crossing the Cabra Corral Dike, the rafting adventure awaits us. This activity begins at the base of Salta Rafting with an instructive course of rafting and safety. The equipment is delivered and the rapids of the river Juramento begin to descend, there are 12 different rapids class II and III, framed by the imposing landscape of the River Juramento Canyon. The canyon of the Juramento is like a giant open pit between the mountains. Its walls were, 65 million years ago, huge beaches inhabited by prehistoric animals. The descent starts at the base and finishes 12 kms later in the Lapachos Paraje.

The return to base by land lasts about 20 minutes. At the arrival the ASADO would be ready!

In the afternoon (after roasting) Canopy excursion, it is a very adrenaline activity … it consists of a 20 minute walk along the mountain and then crosses the entire canyon of the Juramento River through 4 steel cables; These are between 200 and 80 meters in height and go at a speed of 35 km / h.

Reccomendation: bring a change of clothes, another pair of shoes, a towel, insect repellent and sunscreen.
