Seven Lakes Road is an Icon of Argentina’s lake district with scenic drives and impressive vistas of Northern Patagonia and the Andes range. During the journey we’ll visit La Angostura Village and the picturesque town of San Martin de los Andes, Lanin National Park, linked by 7 lakes: Correntoso, Espejo, Falkner, Villariño, Escondido, Machónico & Lacar.
Pick up at the hotel and private transfer and scenic drive to Villa La Angostura, around Lake Nahuel Huapi with spectacular views of the region passing Limay River & Huemul Branch.
Once at this Mountain Village we´ll visit some spectacular View Points and attractive locations such as Bahia Mansa, Bahía Brava, Correntoso River & Espejo Lake. We´ll continue driving along the Seven Lakes roads with spectacular mountain views, rivers, waterfalls and crystal clear lakes surrounded by Pure Nature. During the tour we’ll have plenty of time to stop and take photographs or make some easy short walk exploring the area.
After visit lakes Villariño, Falkner, Machónico, Escondido & Lacar, we´ll arrive at the picturesque San Martin de los Andes, the capital city of Lanin National Park. We´ll stop in a local coffee store for a light lunch (Included) and free time to explore the town with wide streets and, or maybe a pleasant lake coastal walk.
In the Afternoon we´ll start going back visiting “Mirador Arrayan”, a viewing point and lookout with spectacular vista from above of Lacar Lake and mountains. Arrive at Bariloche late afternoon.
Recommended equipment list: daily backpack, wind jacket, mountain/outdoor pants, hiking boots or training shoes, fleece & extra, woolen hat, gloves, sunscreen and rain gear (in case of bad weather).
Duration: approx. 9 hours.
-Regular tour departs all year long, everyday at 09.00 am.
-Private tour departure schedule is coordinated previously with the passenger depending on their availability.
