On this tour you will explore Valparaiso (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) where and fall in love with this city’s natural beauty and Chilean charm. Your journey will start with a drive up the famous Florida Hill where you will be able to appreciate the house-museum of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda (Nobel Prize for Literature, 1971). From there you will continue along the narrow Cintura Street known for its magnificent lookout points, picturesque buildings and scenic landscapes of both the ocean and the colorful city. Afterwards you will stroll along the Atkinson and Gervasoni boardwalks; full of history when this important port city was considered “The Jewel of the Pacific“(before the opening of the Panama Canal). Subsequently you will head to Prat Pier and Plaza Sotomayor, a significant landmark honoring the heroes of Iquique and the Pacific War. From this location you will take a ride on one of the town’s typical cable cars that will lead to a beautiful viewpoint. Last but not least you will follow the road up Playa Ancha Hill, where you will have an incredible vantage point over Valparaisos landscape and its breathtaking surroundings.
