A Unique journey discovering the impressive Lake Nahuel Huapi and “Villa La Angostura” at the foot of Cerro Bayo, surrounded by Native Andean forest, lagoons, rivers and natural attractions. Enjoy a scenic drive along the shorelines Lake Nahuel Huapi and explore the landmarks of this Area visiting impressive lookouts, Istmo de Quetrihue, Boat Navigation including “Bosque de Arrayanes” soft walks.
Pick up at the hotel and private transfer and scenic drive to Villa La Angostura around Lake Nahuel Huapi with spectacular views of the region, passing Limay River & Huemul Branch.
Once at this Mountain Village (1 ½ Hs/60 miles) we´ll visit the most attractive locations and viewpoints such as: Espejo Lake, Correntoso River and part of the Seven Lakes Road. We continue our drive reaching “Istmo de Quetrihue” and the Bays: Mansa & Brava. On the way, we´ll stop in a local coffee store for a light lunch before embark the Catamaran (Regular service) for a pleasant cruising heading to Quetrihue Peninsula navigating the blue deep waters of Nahuel Huapi Lake (60 min.).
Once in Quetrihue Port we´ll enjoy an easygoing walk (loop) discovering this unique Cinnamon color tree called Arrayan (scientific name Luma apiculata). The circuit is very interesting for all people, where the forest is mixed with other Native species: Cipreses, Coihues and radales, among others.
After the walk we´ll re-embark the Catamaran and head back to Port. From the boat we´ll see some of the most remarkable mountains such as: Cerro Bayo, Dormilon & Colorado, and also the northern point of Victoria Island. Arrive at your Hotel in Bariloche late afternoon.
Recommended equipment list: daily backpack, wind jacket, mountain/outdoor pants, hiking boots or training shoes, fleece & extra, woolen hat, gloves, sunscreen and rain gear (in case of bad weather).
Duration: 10 hours.
-Regular tour departs all year long, everyday at 09.00 am.
-Private tour departure schedule is coordinated previously with the passenger depending on their availability.
