Starting from Calafate we headed to Puerto Moreno, from there we will navigate the Canal de los Témpanos and enter the Seno Mayo del Argentine Lake We will disembark in Bahía Toro. Accompanied by a guide we will make a Interpretive walk through the Andean Patagonian Forest composed of sour cherries, cinnamon sticks, lengas and ñires until reaching an example of sour cherry centenary that presents a trunk more than three meters in diameter. Next, we will go through the forest until we reach a stream, which it is fed by a waterfall, (product of a landslide) and from where we will be able to observe a formation of calcareous rocks whose palisade measures about 180 meters high and 100 wide approximately, we will remain at this point until we return to the barcode that will take us to our next Cerro Negro destination. Starting from Bahía Toro, we will continue navigating the Seno Mayo del Lago Argentine where we will observe the Cerro Mayo Glaciers and the Glacier Cerro Negro pendant. We will disembark and accompanied by a guide we will start for a walk of approximately 1,000 meters going into the Andean Forest Patagonian, following the trace of a stream that will guide us to the wall of stone from where you will see the Hanging Glacier with 360º views of a landscape that will leave us amazed. We will stay on the site for a while and then return to the ship that we Transfer to the north wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We will disembark at the Puerto Moreno Floating Dock (at the foot of the walkways), to return to the city of El Calafate.
Recommendations: wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing (sweater and windbreaker and / or waterproof jacket). Sunglasses, protective cream and gloves.
Also sun hat or coat in case it is very cold.
Duration: 11 hours.
