END OF THE WORLD TRAIN – HALF DAY

The Austral Fueguino Railway begins its journey starting from the End of the World station, on the same embankment that the prisoners traveled 100 years ago. It enters the Cañadón del Toro, crosses the Pipo river, over the “burned bridge”, where you can see the wooden ruins of the old bridge, under the new roads. The first stop is at the “Cascada La Macarena” Station. During this stop it is possible to ascend to a viewpoint that offers a fabulous view of the Pipo river valley and from which it is possible to observe the source of the “La Macarena” waterfall. As a second option, we can walk a few meters to the side of the road and contemplate the representation of a typical settlement of one of the tribes that inhabited these lands hundreds of years ago: Los Yamanas. The train continues its march following the course of the Pipo River, crossing sectors where it is possible to observe the footprint left by the actions of the prisoners. The tour ends at the station “del Parque”. From this point, you can continue the visit to the National Park, in another means of transportation, already hired in advance, or return to the End of the World station.
