This activity – a complement to the Balcón de Calafate excursion – begins
with a pickup which leads to a transfer to the base of Cerro Huyliche. From there we go uphill in 4WD vehicles up to 950 meters. After an hour, we will arrive at the starting point of the “Quad” circuits and armed with the proper technical equipment, we begin an 8km-tour toward the heart of the Hill. The Quads allow you to experience the area’s ancient geography in an efficient way while also allowing you to observe the most attractive corners of Cerro Huyliche.
After the circuit, we will take the 4WD vehicles back downhill towards the northern slope, stopping at the Stone of Mexican hats and various panoramic points. The experience ends with a transfer back to your hotel in El Calafate.
Duration: 3 hours.
