EXPERIENCE NAVIGATION AND WALKING WITH PENGUINS – FULL DAY

Starting from our office in the tourist pier of the city of Ushuaia, we go in our boat Les Eclaireurs heading to southeast to discover the Beagle Channel, having as final destination the Harberton Ranch. Along the way we will make stops at the Bird Island where we can spot a colony of Imperial Cormorants and other birds such as skuas, southern giant petrels and black-browed albatrosses; on the Isla de los Lobos We will be able to appreciate the South American sea lions with one and two hairs. Once in the Les Eclaireurs archipelago we can see the famous lighthouse homonymous that also has colonies of imperial cormorants and rockers on their islets. We will leave the lighthouse to continue sailing to our destination, on the way You will be able to observe the predominant vegetation of the area, as well as the town of Puerto Williams (Chile) on Isla Navarino. Once at Estancia Harberton, we will sail for 15 minutes from the pier to Isla Martillo in a semi-rigid boat. In the island we will walk for an hour between Magellanic penguins and papuae, always with a guide. Back at the ranch there will be time to have lunch (the food or drink) and visit the museum of bones of birds and marine mammals Acatushún. After the visit of the museum we will return to the city of Ushuaia in our minibuses through Provincial Route J and Route Nacional No3, making a stop along the way to see the emblematic flag trees.

Recommendation: use a hat, buff, waterproof jacket, sneakers trekking, gloves and sunglasses.
