All about the TOLAR GRANDE – 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS.

Tolar Grande is located in the department of Los Andes, at 3520 meters above sea level, in the very heart of the Puna Salteña, 387 km from the provincial capital. We go up through the Abra de Alto Chorrillos that rises to 4560 meters above sea level.

-Regular tour departs daily, pick up time around 07.00 to 07.30pm.
-Private tour departure schedule is coordinated previously with the passenger depending on their availability.

  1. DAY 1 SALTA - SAN ANTONIO DE COBRES -TOLAR GRANDE

    At 7 am departure from Salta to San Antonio de los Cobres. After lunch we go to the town of Tolar Grande. You go through Abra de Alto Chorrillos 4560 meters above sea level, Salar de Pocitos, 7 Curvas, Desierto del Diablo and Salar del Diablo. Arrival to Tolar Grande at 6:00 p.m.

    Night in Tolar Grande.

  2. DAY 2 SALA DE ARIZARO

    The next day we leave at 8 am for the Salar de Arizaro and Base of the Cone of Arita. Lunch at the town. Then we will visit El Arenal and the Ojos de Mar.

  3. DAY 3 TOLAR GRADE - SALTA

    On the last day at 8 am, depart from Tolar Grande to pass through San Antonio de los Cobres, Abra de High or tall Chorrillos (4560 masl.). Lunch in San Antonio de los Cobres. Arrival in the city of Salta around 8:00 p.m.
